Madison Athlete Commits to Birmingham Southern

JACKSON, Tenn.- It was a big decision Wednesday for a West Tennessee athlete as he committed to play at the college level. At a ceremony held at Madison Academic High School,Foster Johnstone, a senior at the school signed with Birmingham Southern College to run cross county and track. Johnstone said he excited about the opportunity. “Running has already given me people that I know at Birmingham Southern, so it’s nice to already have people that I know there and I have connected well with, the coach. Glad that i have people that I know i can trust on campus already,” said Foster Johnstone. The coach at Birmingham Southern said he was very excited to have Johnstone join his team.
