Generals Pitcher Relishes Chance to Play Again

JACKSON, Tenn.- The Jackson Generals are in the middle of a five game home series against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. It is the team’s second home series this year. Many of the players are still getting used to living and playing in Jackson, but it could be said Nick Hill is back at home. The left hander, played in Jackson as a West Tenn Diamond Jaxx pitcher from 2008 until 2010. However, injuries forced him off the playing field for two and a half years. “I’m just trying to take it one pitch at a time. It’s pretty cliché, but, I mean, it is what it is. I’m just enjoying every day now. I’ve been blessed to be back playing, so I’m just going to take it for what it’s worth,” said Nick Hill, Jackson Generals pitcher. The Generals hit the field Monday night in game three against the Blue Wahoos.
