Case of Teen Charged with Statutory Rape in Church Heads to Grand Jury

JACKSON, Tenn.- The Jackson woman charged with raping a young boy inside a church back in February was back in court Thursday for her preliminary hearing, where one of the charges was dropped against her. Hannah Steiner,18, waived her right to the hearing which allows her case to now go to a Madison County grand jury. The panel will consider two counts of statutory rape involving a 13-year-old. The count of forciable rape was dropped, Thursday. According to investigators, the incident happened at Skyline Church of Christ. She remains free on $5,000 bond.
