Weather Forces Relay for Life Changes

JACKSON, Tenn.- With rain and thunderstorms expected for Friday, the American Cancer Society is moving Madison County’s Relay for Life indoors or at least under the pavilion at the Jackson Fairgrounds Park. The event will begin with a 5 p.m. with the walk for kids. The survivor’s walk and opening ceremonies will begin at 6 p.m. A track and stage will be set up for teams to walk throughout the night and also enjoy a wide range of entertainment. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News anchor Keli McAlister will have the honor of serving as emcee of the Friday night’s events. Weather permitting, WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News will have live reports from the Relay for Life throughout the evening , Friday.
