Star Center Honors Job Training Graduates

JACKSON, Tenn.- A very special graduation was held for some West Tennessee students ready for a bit more independence. The Star Center held its job training graduation, Thursday afternoon at the center on Old Humboldt Road. The program helps adults with physical or mental disabilities, learn the skills they need to get a job. Those skills included, how to better communicate, team work and interviewing skills. Some of the participants have been in the workforce already and are learning new skills, while others are just out of high school and have never had a job.
