JCT Students Goal: Pie Principal

JACKSON, Tenn.- Students at a local elementary get chance to hit their principal in the face with a whipped cream pie in an effort to learn about how cancer affects them. Students at Jackson Careers and Technology held a dime contest to raise money benefiting Relay for Life. The three raising the most money got to throw a pie, in the face of principal Carolyn Caldwell. “Just an awarenes of cancer that everybody is connected with cancer in their family in some way and then giving back to the community,” said Leanne Hutchinson, a Pre-K teacher at Jackson Careers and Technology Elementary. Students in the Jackson-Madison will have their final day of school next Thursday.
