Whiteville Police Seek Identity of Person of Interest
WHITEVILLE, Tenn.- Investigators are taking a new look at the suspect in a violent armed robbery earlier this week in Whiteville. Officers said he was caught on camera, casing the store just minutes before the robbery. The suspect walks in about 5 or 6 minutes before the store is robbed. In the video from the store, he was seen going the bathroom, then leaving, all within 42 seconds. Caught by various cameras, officers call his activity very suspicious. Investigators believed he was making sure no one else was in the store. There is a car that officers hope you can help them identify, too. It appears the driver tries to avoid the cameras as it comes through the back of the BP parking lot about a minute and a half before the store is robbed.
