West Tennessean Dies in Car Crash

FINGER, Tenn. – A West Tennessean died in a fatal wreck on Highway 199, Friday. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 36-year-old William Clayton was driving southbound on the highway when he veered off the right side of the road. His Toyota Tacoma then struck a bridge abutment and the driver was ejected. Investigators said Clayton’s seat belt was not in use.
