Trenton Bank Robber Changes Plea to Guilty

TRENTON, Tenn.- The man accused of robbing a Trenton bank at gunpoint last January has pleaded guilty instead of going to trial. Ron Woody pleaded guilty to one of the two federal counts against him, admitting he robbed the Regions Bank in Trenton. Officers arrested him after officers said he tried to cash in the stolen money stained with dye at two banks in Humboldt. Woody is scheduled to be sentenced on August 23.
