Shannon Street Music Fest This Weekend, Rain or Shine

JACKSON, Tenn.- The 22nd annual Shannon Street Music Festival kicks off Friday in downtown Jackson. Organizers said the music fest will go on rain or shine. The two-day event in downtown along Main Street begins at 5 p.m. and will have a second night on Saturday. The event has all types of music from dance to blues, featuring Magi, John Kilzer, Highway 61 South and a number of local acts. In addition, there will be a kids area, RIFA Arts of Compassion Festival and a 5k run. Tickets are $10.
