Starbucks Smoking Ban

JACKSON, Tenn.- Starbucks only wants you to smell the aroma of coffee near their buildings. As of this weekend, the coffee company is banning smoking within at least 25 feet of its shops. The ban includes the Starbucks in north Jackson and all others in the U.S. and Canada. The company’s old policy let customers smoke as long as they were not on the store’s patio, which means sometimes smokers lit up just feet away from other patrons.
