Weakley County Inmate Wanted after Walking Off Work Detail

DRESDEN, Tenn. – The Weakley County Sheriff‘s Department is asking for the public‘s help in locating an inmate who walked off a work detail. According to investigators, Terry Chumbley walked off the work detail at the Weakley County Highway Department around 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 30. Chumbley is described as a white man who is 5‘ 7″ tall and 230 pounds. He has brown hair, green eyes and a tear drop tattoo on his right cheek. Investigators said Chumbley was serving a four year sentence for vandalism and had been a trustee for three weeks. He is from the Nashville and is believed to be headed to that area.
