Man Wanted for Rape Arrested

JACKSON, Tenn. – A Jackson man wanted for more than two weeks on charges including rape, was arrested late Thursday afternoon. Jackson police issued a warrant for James Randall III’s arrest following an incident on May 15. The warrant is for charges of rape and aggravated domestic assault. Officers say Randall beat and raped the woman. According to investigators, he knew the victim had undergone surgery on her skull in the past, yet repeatedly hit her in the head during the attack. As a result, the victim had to be hospitalized. Investigators said a tip led them to a home on Adams Street. Randall was taken into custody around 5:15 p.m.
