THP’s Nashville district to conduct 2 checkpoints

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Nashville District will conduct two driver’s license checkpoints on Friday.

One is scheduled to take place in the morning on Sparta Pike in Wilson County, while the other will be held at night on Highway 231 in Sumner County.

Officials say the checkpoints are part of a campaign that simply seeks to enforce driver’s license laws and promote safety.
