Twilight 5K Raises Funds for New Reflection Room

JACKSON, Tenn. – There were more than the usual amount of evening runners in west Jackson, Thursday. They were taking part in the first ever Twilight Run and Rooftop Rendezvous. The event included an evening 5K race, a one mile run run/walk and it ended with live music and dinner on the roof of a building on the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital campus. The event benefited Heaven’s Cradle, which is a fund of the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation. The group’s aim is to make it easier to talk about the loss of a child as well as comfort grieving parents and grandparents.
