One Arrested, One Wanted in Jackson Drug Investigation

JACKSON, Tenn. – A man has been arrested, after narcotics officers served a search warrant at a West Jackson apartment. Officers arrested Stormy Hicks at his home, Wednesday, after they said they found crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, a reported stolen handgun, and other items inside the apartment. Investigators said the drugs have an estimated street value of more than $5,600. Narcotics officers charged Hicks with Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Officers said they are still looking for Hicks’ roommate, Jeremy Eckford, in connection with the investigation. Eckford is 23 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs 220 pounds.
