Settling into summer weather
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The meteorological summer has arrived in Tennessee, even if the astronomical summer season is more than a week away.
Midweek weather is summerlike across the state, with high temperatures expected in the mid-90s in Memphis, Nashville and Chattanooga through Wednesday. Knoxville and the Tri-Cities will likely graze the 90s.
Muggy conditions will prevail, with a slight chance of thunderstorms Thursday backing down the thermometer a bit on Friday before a weekend warm-up.
