Man Arrested on Consecutive Days

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.- One man is in hot water again for the second day in a row. Jeffery Maness was arrested Sunday night for aggravated burglary after breaking into a home on Old Malesus Road. After being released, Maness is accused of calling the victims and threatening to kill anyone that gave statements about him. According to deputies, he stated that he had to pay $5,000 to get out of jail and figured that is about what their lives were worth. Maness is in jail on charges of retaliation for past actions.
