Jackson Named “Most Livable Small City”

LAS VEGAS, NV. – The city of Jackson has been honored as one of the most livable cities in the country. Mayor Jerry Gist was awarded first place honors in the 2013 City Livability Awards. The award declared the Jackson the “Most Livable Small City” because of the “Jumpstart Jackson” initiative. The programs intends to make Jackson the “healthiest city in Tennessee.” Mayor Gist said that he and the city were very honored.
