Gas Prices Stay Stable Head of Holiday Weekend
WEST TENN. – It is news most drivers in West Tennessee are glad to hear. AAA says our state’s gas prices are lower than most of the rest of the country. AAA is reporting gas costs nationwide are down a penny since Friday and down four-cents in the past week. The current national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.57. Here in the Volunteer State, drivers are paying about 26-cents less a gallon, averaging $3.31 for regular unleaded. Drivers in Hawaii are paying the most at $4.33 a gallon. Gas is cheapest in South Carolina at $3.26 a gallon.
