Man Wanted After Major Stash House Busted

HENRY CO. Tenn.- A Memphis man is wanted in Henry County after deputies found more than seven pounds of marijuana in his home on Kent Drive. Investigators believe Terry Richards, a convicted felon, bought a home in Henry County, and used it to stash drugs before selling them on the street. “Through our investigation we determined he is a major supplier for this area and our county,” said Sgt. Jamie Myrick, a deputy on the Metro Crime Unit. Ammunition was also in the home. Deputies told 7 Eyewitness News a gun case they recovered is linked to a stolen weapon out of Illinois, but no gun was found. “He may be in possession of a stolen weapon, and possibly armed and dangerous,” said Myrick. Neighbors who lived next to the alleged stash house say they saw Richards a few times, and couldn’t believe that many drugs were found next door. “Now we feel a little safer that that is taken care of,” said Shandra Andrews. “We knew something was going on but didn’t know what.” The drugs are worth nearly two thousand dollars a pound on the street according to deputies.
