Sheriff’s Department Investigates Possible Rape

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. – An apparent rape is under investigation by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies say the incident happened around 4 a.m., Sunday, in the 2700-block of Highway 70 East. Investigators have identified a 36-year-old man as a possible suspect, but, as of late Monday, he had not been arrested.
