Brownsville Bank Robbery Suspect on the Loose

UPDATED BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. – Brownsville police have identified the man accused of robbing a Brownsville bank, Friday morning. Late Friday night, police identified the suspect caught on surveillance as Jeffrey Traywick, 48, whose last known address was in Jackson. He is accused of robbing the First South Bank on West Main Street in Brownsville around 9:07 a.m. He reportedly indicated to workers that he had a weapon and escaped with $1450. The suspect was then caught on video getting into a vehicle at the Family Pantry on West Main Street and driving south on Wilson Street. He was wearing a green and gray shirt, black cargo shorts and leaving the area in a gray or beige S-10 pickup truck with a temporary tag in the back window.
