Two Charged after Shooting Incident

HUMBOLDT, Tenn.- Police say weekend gunfire in Humboldt has landed two people in jail. Officers have linked Kenneth Shaw, 27, of Memphis and Eureka Mathis, 35, of Humboldt to shots fired from a Cadillac Escalade as it was leaving the Superway Convenience Store on East End Drive. Shaw has been charged with reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and theft of property over $500. His bond has been set at $20,000. Mathis was charged with criminal impersonation. Her bond was set at $1,500. Both will appear in court on July 10.
