Martin Board Votes on Prescription Pseudoephedrine

MARTIN, Tenn.-The city of Martin has taken a big step toward curbing meth making in the town. An ordinance to make pseudoephedrine available by prescription only in Martin passed its first reading , Monday night by a vote of five to zero that according to Mayor Randy Brundidge. He said one of the aldermen was absent. Police Chief David Moore, who made the proposal is holding an informal hearing on July 23 at UT-Martin. A public hearing at Martin City Hall is set for August 12
