Hearing to Dismiss Nuisance Action Set for Next Week

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.- A hearing has been set to consider the dismissal of the public nuisance order that was filed against the Poise Lounge in north Madison County. Records from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department showed there were more than 26 complaints that required action by the department between October 2012 and April of this year. The county filed a public nusiance act against the club. Since then, property owners say they have terminated the lease with the woman who was running the business, Carrie Mae Fowler. Deputies said since May 1, there have been no incidents reported at the business. The hearing to consider the dismissal is scheduled for next Tuesday.
