Body of woman, 64, found in Sevierville pond
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Officials in Sevierville are investigating the death of a woman who was found dead in a pond.
WVLT-TV (http://bit.ly/18ngj0T ) reported the Sevier County Fire Department was called about 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Firefighters said the 64-year-old woman’s granddaughter found her in the water and called 911. It wasn’t immediately known how she came to be in the pond. Her name wasn’t immediately released.
