JACKSON, Tenn.- What appears to be a drive-by shooting early Friday morning in midtown Jackson leaves a man recovering from a gunshot wound to his backside. The man told officers just before 1 a.m., he was walking up the steps to La Paree apartment on North Highland when he saw a vehicle driving slowly up a nearby alley.
