UT Martin Installs Electric Vehicle Chargers

MARTIN, Tenn.- If you drive an electric vehicle and make a stop on the UT Martin campus, a re-charge is as easy as plugging it in. UT Martin and Ecotality, the EV charger company, have installed two charging stations in the football stadium parking lot. University officials said the charging stations are a part of their commitment to be green. UT Martin is the second university to install chargers on its campus. The first was the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
