Two Convenience Stores Robbed, Suspects Sought

JACKSON, Tenn.- Two convenience stores are robbed in a matter of just two hours in Jackson, but police said they are not connected. The first happened at the Phillips 66 on Hollywood Drive, just after 10:30 p.m., Sunday. Police said a knife-wielding suspect robbed workers of cash from the register. Police said he was wearing an orange shirt and black pants. The second happened just after 12:30 a.m. at the Circle K on North Highland and East University Parkway. Officers said this one was robbed at gunpoint by three black men. One had a hood on his head, the other had shirts over their faces. Police said they took money from the store and ran off.
