Air Evac Gets New Hangar and Quarters in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.- An air medical service that serves Jackson and a good portion of West Tennessee has some new digs. The Air Evac Lifeteam held an open house for their new hangar and quarters in west Jackson, Tuesday afternoon. The facility, staffed by a crew of three, is on Medical Center Drive near Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Air Evac has been making flights in Jackson since 1989 and provides air ambulance service across the area. The new facility cost about $300,000.
