Local Sonic Franchisee Sued for Sexual Harrassment

JACKSON, Tenn.- A company that is over several local Sonic Drive-ins has been sued in civil court accused of sexual harassment. A former Sonic employee claims she was wrongfully fired after accusing a manager at Stanfill, Inc. of sexual harassment. According to court documents, the employee said she was a target of unwelcome suggestive comments and forced to look at an inappropriate photograph of a co-worker on her boss’s cell phone. The two owners also named in the suit are accused of ignoring her complaints. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News reached out to the business owners several times for comment. They have not returned our calls or messages. A hearing date has not been set.
