Juvenile Shooting Suspect Appears for Detention Hearing

JACKSON, Tenn.-The 16-year-old suspected of shooting two people Sunday morning in Allenton Heights, appeared before a judge Thursday afternoon. As we first told you last, the teen turned himself in Wednesday. Detention center officials said he has been on a hunger strike since then. The teen faces two counts of attempted first degree murder. The 16-year-old victim remains hospitalized in serious condition, according to police. The 22-year-old man walking with him was grazed by a bullet on the hand.
