Person Taken into Custody after Fire at Apartment Complex

JACKSON, Tenn.- A person of interest is in custody after a morning fire at a west Jackson apartment complex. Investigators said they expect to charge the person with aggravated arson. Firefighters were called out to Guardian Courts Apartments around 8:30 a.m. and found neighbors passing buckets full of water to one another to try and put out the flames. Fire crews were able to get it under control in about half an hour. No injuries were reported.
