Fresh Start May Get Contract to Mow Cemetary

JACKSON, Tenn.- When the Jackson City Council convenes next week.. they are expected to discuss a lawn care contract with Area Relief Ministries’ “Fresh Start” program. I would pay “Fresh Start” participants to care for the grounds of certain city properties, such as Riverside Cemetery in downtown Jackson. According to city officials, when they originally put the contract out for bids, none were returned. The “Fresh Start” program helps homeless men and those in need get back on their feet. The city council meets again August 6.
