Hundreds of attendees are able to meet with members from other locations and trade ideas and successes during the event. “Life has opportunities and if we soar and we pursue, we can have whatever God said we can have. This is our year,” said Bishop Brandon B. Porter of the Greater Community Temple Church of God in Christ, located in Memphis. The convocation features daily workshops during the day and services each evening with musical guests and recording artist Paul Porter. It continues thru Friday at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Downtown Jackson.
