Police Release Name of McKenzie Shooting Suspect

MCKENZIE, Tenn.-McKenzie Police have identified the person *they said is responsible for shooting at two officers late last week. Quentin Bowden, 21, is charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder. He is currently jailed in lieu of $50,000 bond. Police said just after 10 p.m., Friday, Bowden shot out the window of a McKenzie Police Department patrol car. Two officers had a car pulled over near the campus of Bethel University when they were fired on. Investigators believe Bowden shot from a nearby abandoned home. He was arrested less than eight hours later in Paris. Officers said they expect more arrests.
