Police Searching for Theft Suspect
JACKSON, Tenn. – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who was caught on surveillance video taking another person’s cell phone off a counter. According to police, a man left his cell phone on the counter at the Goodwill Store on South Highland Avenue on July 27. Police said that, a short time later, a woman, who was wearing a light colored top, picked up the phone. The victim returned to the store while the suspect was still at the counter, but the woman allegedly kept the phone and did not indicate she had found it. The woman is described as a white female, between 30 and 40 years old, with a tattoo on her back.
