Back-to-School Bash Set for Saturday

JACKSON, Tenn. – Leaders of the Jackson-Madison County School System are hoping to kick off the 2013-2014 school year in a big way. They are hosting a back-to-school bash. It will be held in the Belk-wing of the Old Hickory Mall, Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. School board members and new superintendent, Dr. Verna Ruffin, will be on hand. There will also be student performances and information available about all the district’s schools.
