ARM Program Participants to Mow City Cemetery

JACKSON, Tenn.- Clients with Area Relief Ministries will now have chance to work and take care of some city property. During Tuesday morning’s Jackson City Council meeting, the proposal to contract with Area Relief Ministries’ Fresh Start program for lawn care at Riverside Cemetery was approved. Workers will take care of mowing, weed eating and removing trash and debris. According to city officials, when they put the contract out for bid originally, no companies submitted bids for the work. Area Relief Ministries Fresh Start program has a goal of helping homeless and needy men get work and get back on their feet.
