Downtown Shooting Suspect In Custody

JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson police said they have a suspect in custody for the shooting that injured a man early Tuesday evening. Police told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News 27-year-old Santiveious Collins turned himself in at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday night. The shooting happened around 6:40 p.m. at McMillan Towers on South Fairgrounds Street. Officers said the man was hit once in the leg and is expected to fully recover.
