JACKSON, Tenn.- Forrest Heights United Methodist Church in Jackson held its fifth annual book review luncheon, Thursday. World War II was the topic of discussion with the books “Unbroken” and “Devil at my Heels” at the center of the discussion. The group meets once every year to discuss books they have read. Participants told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News they hope the annual meeting will encourage others to pick up a book. “Reading opens up up all kinds of avenues for people in their lives and we just wanted to share that opportunity with folks,” said Sue Wyatt, program director at Forest Heights United Methodist Church. About 60 people attended this year’s book meeting.
