TSU students, faculty, staff to aid needy

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Tennessee State University students, faculty and staff members will help local organizations in a day of service this month.

The Fall Service Learning Day involving the TSU community is Aug. 24.

The university will send volunteers to aid organizations that help needy, hungry and homeless people in the Greater Nashville area. Among them are Second Harvest Food Bank and the Cumberland River Compact.
