Woman Accused of Having Sex with Puppy

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. – A Henderson County woman is behind bars after she allegedly had sex with a puppy and kept video of the encounter on her computer. According to the Henderson County Sheriff‘s Department, Carrie Thomas is charged with criminal offenses against animals. No bond has been set as of Friday afternoon. Investigators said they received a tip about the alleged encounter in May. Deputies said they tracked the video to a computer that they seized and sent to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation so they could recover any deleted video and other items from the hard drive. Thursday, deputies received the data from the computer and said that they believe a large amount of evidence regarding sexual acts with animals was downloaded onto the computer. Investigators said that one video was homemade with Thomas participating in it. Friday, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Thomas and took her into custody. The charge of criminal offenses against animals is a Class E felony.
