Miss Tennessee Visits Jackson Christian

JACKSON, Tenn– Students at Jackson Christian School had a special visitor for chapel. Miss Tennessee, Shelby Thompson, spoke with JCS students Monday about mentoring children through the Big Brother’s Big Sister organization. Thompson, a national spokesperson for the organization, said she’s focused on bringing more awareness to her platform because she believes it has a clear mission. The newly crowned Miss Tennessee is scheduled to travel 70,000 miles and speak to 40,000 students during her tour of the country promoting character education.
