Lawsuit Against Doctor Dismissed

JACKSON, Tenn.– This week a lawsuit filed against a Jackson doctor in 2011 was dismissed. The suit accused Dr. Elie Korban of performing unnecessary procedures on patients in an effort to defraud the U.S. Government. The suit was filed by Dr. Wood Deming in 2007. Court papers showed the dismissal was granted because the judge deemed some paperwork was not served to Dr. Korban in a timely manner.
