Child Killed in Crash

TIPTON COUNTY, Tenn.- The death of a 2-year-old girl in Tipton County on Saturday is under investigation by deputies and state troopers. Officers want to know if she was being properly supervised. Investigators say the 2-year-old and two older siblings were playing in their yard in the 700-block of Charleston-Mason Road in Mason. Their 30-year-old mother told officers she walked inside to check on crying infant when she heard squealing tires. The 4 and 10-year-olds were not hurt in the crash.
