JACKSON, Tenn. — A group of area residents got together to help a man get to work a little bit easier. A few weeks ago, radio host Richard Donnell saw Trey Hill, 21, walking down the road and gave him a ride to work. After Donnell told his listeners how Hill walks the several miles back and forth to work every day, listeners began to call in with offers to help buy Hill a car. About 20 listeners pitched in for the cause. Today, the listeners dropped off the car they were able to buy at Trey‘s home. Not only were they able to buy him the car, they also got him six months of insurance for it. Hill was in shock when he got the car. He thanked the listeners who bought it, and said he was grateful that God blessed them and him. He also said he wanted to pay it forward some day. Just yesterday, Hill found out he was hired for a second job. This is the first car Hill said he has ever owned.
