Humboldt Man Sentenced for Having Child Porn

A Humboldt man will spend 5 years behind bars for having child pornography on a hard drive he owned. Roy Lee Wade, Jr. was sentenced Monday on the charge. He pled guilty in March. Court documents said that Wade pled guilty to having more than 600 photos and videos of minors engaged in sexual activity. In addition to the time he was sentenced to in federal prison, Wade will also have to participate in Sexual Offender Treatment and serve 10 years of supervised release. Police said they found the pornography while following up on a tip they received. He was originally arrested by Humboldt police on state charges in July 2012.
