Man Hit by Car in North Jackson

JACKSON Tenn.- Jackson Police tell 7 Eyewitness News a man has died after being hit by a car on the 45 Bypass late Sunday. Officers tell 7 Eyewitness News the man walked into oncoming traffic near the Days Inn around 9:40 p.m. when he was hit by the car, and sustained a serious head injury. He was taken to Jackson Madison County General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Jackson Police say the accident is under investigation.
